A Semantico-Syntactic Abstraction Language (SAL) for Classifying
English Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, and Adverbs
NOTE: This SAL taxonomy was developed as the principal
means of representing English language sentences to the
OpenLogos computer system, pursuant to their translation
into other target languages.
SAL enabled OpenLogos to disambiguate and analyze
English source text both in terms of sentence structure (syntax)
and word meaning (semantics).
Process Nouns are given the same SAL code as the Verbs from which they are derived. See the Verb Taxonomy for Process Noun Codes
